Singapore News: Personalised Employment Pass (PEP)

ကၽြန္မရဲ့ အစ္ကို တစ္ေယာက္က ေျပာလို ့ ဒီမွာ အလုပ္လုပ္တဲ့ သူေတြအတြက္ pass ေနာက္တစ္မ်ိဳး ထပ္ေပးမယ္ လို ့ သိရပါတယ္။

ကၽြန္မ ဒီကို စေရာက္ေတာ့ WP, EP Q1 , EP Q2, EP P ဆုိၿပီး ရွိခဲ့တယ္။ ေနာက္ေတာ့ EP Q1 ကို ျဖဳတ္ၿပီး S Pass ဆိုတာကို လုပ္တယ္။ ခုေနာက္တစ္ခု PEP ဆို ထပ္လုပ္ျပန္ၿပီ။ ကၽြန္မ ရဲ့ အစ္ကို ေပးတဲ့ လင္ခ့္က စာေတြကို ဒီမွာ ထပ္ဆင့္ေဖာ္ျပ လိုက္ပါတယ္။ အေသးစိတ္သိခ်င္ရင္ ဖတ္လို ့ရေအာင္ MOM က လင္ခ့္ကိုပါ ဒီပိုစ့္မွာ ေပးထားလုိက္ပါတယ္။ ေနာက္အခ်ိန္ရမွ ကၽြန္မသိတဲ့ ဒီမွာ ေလွ်ာက္လို ့ရတဲ့ pass ေတြ အေၾကာင္းေရးပါဦးမယ္။ ခုအလုပ္မွာဆိုေတာ့ ဒီေလာက္ပါပဲ။

Personalised Employment Pass from January to attract and retain foreign talent
A new scheme has been announced to help Singapore better attract and retain global talent.
From January next year, foreigners who have been working here for a few years and earn at least $30,000 a year will be eligible for a new Personalised Employment Pass (PEP).
The Manpower Ministry says with the new pass, the foreign talent will no longer be tied to an employer.
It would be issued based on the workers' own merits and they do not need to reapply for a new one when they change jobs.
The pass, which is valid for 5 years and non-renewable, allows them to stay in Singapore for up to 6 months in between jobs.
Current P1, P2 and Q1 employment pass holders who meet the criteria can apply for the new pass.
For other foreign workers who are not eligible, the current employment pass will remain. - CNA/ir
