Top 10 open source Windows apps

OpenSource applications ကို စိတ္၀င္စားတဲ့ သူေတြ အတြက္ အသံုး၀င္မယ္ထင္လို ့ ဒီမွာ ထပ္ဆင့္မွ် ေ၀လိုက္ပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မ အေန နဲ ့ေတာ့ No. 1 to 6 အထိကို သံုးဘူးပါတယ္။ သံုးမိသေလာက္ေတာ့ သေဘာက်မိတယ္။

1. Mozilla Firefox (Web browser)
အလုပ္မွာပဲ ျဖစ္ျဖစ္၊ အိမ္မွာပဲ ျဖစ္ျဖစ္ ကၽြန္မ အၿမဲ သံုးတဲ့ computer တိုင္းရဲ့ default browser ပါ။

Crikey, another Firefox plug! Yeah, we love the 'fox, and we'll keep talking about it until EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU USES IT. It really just doesn't get any better when it comes to a cross-platform, open source web browser.

2. Mozilla Thunderbird (Email client)
အလုပ္က computer မွာ email ကို outlook နဲ ့မသံုးခ်င္တာနဲ ့ ဒီ ဟာကို email client အျဖစ္ သံုးေလ့ရွိတယ္။ သံုးရတာ အဆင္ေျပပါလို ့ ဆက္သံုးျဖစ္သြားခဲ့ တယ္။

Firefox's much less celebrated little brother is one helluva email client. We especially like its customizable message filters, built-in adaptive Junk mail filter and ability to install useful add-ons (like Firefox).

3. Open Office (Office suite)
ဟို အရင္ လုပ္ဘူးတဲ့ company တစ္ခုမွာ computer တိုင္းမွာ MS office မရွိတာလို ့ အေတာ့္ကို ဒုကၡေရာက္တာနဲ ့ free သံုးလို ့ရတဲ့ office လုိ software လုိက္ရွာရကေနၿပီး ဒီ open office ကို ေတြ ့ၿပီး သံုးျဖစ္သြားခဲ့တာပါ။ စ စ သံုးခ်င္းေတာ့ ကိုယ္က MS office ကို သံုးေနၾကဆိုေတာ့ နည္းနည္း ရွုပ္ေနသလုိ ခံစားမိတယ္။ ေနာက္ပိုင္း သံုးက်င့္ရလာေတာ့ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလး အဆင္ေျပပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မ အဓိက သံုးျဖစ္တာက Words, Excel and PowerPoint ပါ။ MS office software မရွိသူမ်ား သံုးသင့္တဲ့ software တစ္ခုပါ။

4. Gaim (Instant messenger)
ကၽြန္မလို messenger ေပါင္းမ်ားစြား သံုးေလ့ရွိတဲ့ သူေတြ အတြက္ အသံုး၀င္လွပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မ ရဲ့ သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြက messenger ကို တစ္ေယာက္တစ္မ်ိဳး သံုးေလ့ရွိေတာ့ သူတုိ ့ အားလံုးနဲ ့ ၿမဲ အဆက္ အသြယ္ရွိဖို ့ဆိုရင္ ကၽြန္မ မွာ ရွိသမွ် messenger အားလံုး သြင္းထားရပါတယ္။ အိမ္က computer မွာဆို ဘာမွ ျပႆနာ မရွိေပမယ့္၊ အလုပ္မွာ ၾကေတာ့ messnger အားလံုး သြင္းဖို ့ဆို တာ အဆင္မေျပပါဘူး။ ဒီ Gaim မွာက ရွိသမွ် messenger account ေတြကို add လုပ္ထားလို ့ရတယ္ဆိုေတာ့ ဒီ software တစ္ခုသြင္းထားလိုက္ရင္ တစ္ျခား messenger ေတြကို တစ္ခုျခင္းစီ သြင္းစရာမလိုေတာ့ အရမ္း အဆင္ေျပတာနဲ ့ သံုးျဖစ္သြားတာပါ။

ဟို အရင္ကဆို ကၽြန္မ က movie ေတြ ကို download လုပ္ၾကည့္ေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ တစ္ခ်ိဳ ့ movie file ေတြက window media, quicktime, divx player, winamp player ေတြနဲ ့ ဖြင့္လို ့ မရ ျဖစ္ေနတတ္ေတာ့ အဲ့လို ့ file ေတြကို ဖြင့္လို ့ရႏိုင္မယ့္ software လုိက္ရွာ ရင္းကေန ဒီ VLC media player ကို ေတြ ့ၿပီး သံုးျဖစ္သြားတာပါ။ movie download ၿပီး ၾကည့္ေလ့ရွိတဲ့ သူေတြ အတြက္ေတာ္ေတာ္ အသံုး၀င္တဲ့ software တစ္ခုပါ။

8. Cygwin (Unix command line emulator)

9. Eraser (Data deletion utility)
