How to stop automatic updates from installing IE 7.0

ဒီမနက္ သူငယ္ခ်င္း တစ္ေယာက္က ေျပာတာနဲ ့ Microsoft က ေနာက္ သိပ္မၾကာခင္ IE 7.0 ကို auto update လုပ္ေတာ့မယ္တဲ့ ဆိုၿပီး သိလိုက္ရတယ္။

IE 7.0 စထြက္တည္းက သူမ်ားေတြ ေျပာင္းသံုး၊ စမ္းသံုးၾကည္ ့ ေနၾကတာ သိပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္မကေတာ့ ခုခ်ိန္ထိ IE 6 ကုိ သံုးေနတုန္းပါပဲ။ IE 7 ကပိုေကာင္းရင္ ေကာင္းမွာပါ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ခုခ်ိန္ထိေတာ့ ေျပာင္းသံုးၾကည့္ ဖို ့ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္ မရွိေသးပါဘူး။ မလိုအပ္ပဲ IE 6 ကေန IE 7ကို ေျပာင္းလိုက္လုိ ့တက္လာမယ့္ ျပႆနာေတြကို အရွင္းခ်င္းဘူး။ ကၽြန္မလိုပဲ IE 7.0 ကုိ ေျပာင္းမသံုးပဲ IE 6 ကို ပဲ သံုးခ်င္တဲ့ သူေတြ အတြက္ေတာ့ ဒီသီတင္းက ေတာ္ေတာ္ မေကာင္းတာပဲ။ Microsoft က တခါတေလ အဲ့လို ့ မဟုတ္ကဟုတ္က အလုပ္ေတြ သိပ္လုပ္ပါတယ္။ သူ ဟာသိပ္ေကာင္းေနရင္ ကိုယ့္ဟာကို ေျပာင္းသံုးမွာေပါ့။ ဒါမို ့လည္း တခါတေလ Microsoft product ေတြသံုးရတာ စိတ္ကုန္မိတာပါ။ ထားပါေလ။ ခု.. IE 6 ကေန 7 ကို auto update မလုပ္ခ်င္သူမ်ား ဘယ္လို ကာကြယ္လို ့ ရတယ္ ဆိုတာေလးကို ေျပာျပ ခ်င္တာပါ။

ပတမ ဆံုးအေနနဲ ့ IE70Blocker.cmd ကို ဒီမွာ ေဒါင္းလုတ္ လုပ္ပါ။ ၿပီးရင္ ေအာက္က ေျပာထားတဲ့ အဆင့္ေတြ အတိုင္းလုပ္လိုက္ပါ။ ျမန္မာလို မရွင္းတတ္လို ့ English လိုရွင္းထားတာကိုပဲ ျပန္လည္ မွ်ေ၀လိုက္ပါတယ္။

1. Copy the IE70Blocker.cmd to drive C of your PC or Notebook
2. Go to command prompt and navigate to drive C of your Pc or Notebook
3. Run the IE70Blocker.cmd with the following parameter
C:\>IE70Blocker.cmd machine name /b

Usage:
ie70blocker.cmd [machine name] [/B] [/U] [/H]
B = Block Internet Explorer 7.0 deployment
U = Allow Internet Explorer 7.0 deployment
H = Help

4. You should see a notification on the command prompt screen
Note : This step only block Window Automatic Updates from Installing IE 7.0 on your PC automatically. It does not prevent you from manually installing it. Thus if you choose to do a manual window updates. It will not be shown under priority or express updates but under optional updates. If you choose to install it under optional or by custom method, it will still be deploy into you PC
